What to Bring: Rangeley Lakes Cruises

To make your cruise more enjoyable we ask you take into consideration a few items with respect to participating in an outdoor recreation activity:

  1. Weather can be unpredictable – dress appropriately for the days weather
  2. Water temperatures are cold – even in the dead of summer, our lakes remain very cold
  3. Wind Chill – While we will try to minimize getting you wet, on windy days you should expect to get some bow spray.

 

What to Bring

  • Comfortable boating shoes
  • Appropriate clothing for the weather
  • Vehicle keys (lock your car door)
  • Any specific medication that you may need
  • Infant Lifejacket (for passengers under 2 years of age)

 

Optional Items:

  • Camera
  • Binoculars
  • Hat, sunglasses, sunscreen
  • Cell Phone (bring waterproof case)
  • Bug Repellent
  • Sweatshirt / Jacket

 

Your Guide will Provide:

  • Required safety/survival gear for all passengers
  • Large cooler for food storage (Gray Ghost)

 

What NOT to Bring:

  • Firearms, knives, alcohol/drugs
