Upper Dam Fly Fishing Trip

Introduced in 2014!!

On a few select spring and fall dates we will be offering cruises to Upper Dam, one of Maine’s famous fly fishing locations. Similar to the steamboats that transported guides & sports to this historic fishing spot, we will depart Haines Landing aboard the “Gray Ghost” for a scenic 1-hour trip on Mooselookmeguntic, Maine’s 7th largest lake. Arriving at beautiful Upper Dam, we will debark for 3 hours of un-guided fly fishing in the famous pool. The “Gray Ghost” provides plenty of room for your fishing gear and rods. RESERVATIONS ARE PURPOSELY LIMITED TO 6 FISHERMEN TO HELP CONTROL THE NUMBER OF FISHERMAN AT THE POOL. You will enjoy the company of fellow fisherman on the cruise to and from the dam. After fishing the pool, we’ll then re-board the “Gray Ghost” for our trip back to Haines Landing.

Note: Mooselookmeguntic Lake can become quite rough and you can expect to get wet from bow spray. Bring adequate clothing (sweatshirt / jacket).
