Upper & Lower Richardson Lake Cruises

 

Lunch at Lakewood

We’ll depart from the State Boat Ramp at Mill Brook on the north end of Upper Richardson. Once aboard, we’ll enjoy a 1-hour scenic cruise down Upper Richardson, through The Narrows, into Lower Richardson Land and arrive at the historic Lakewood Camps for a special visit to one of the premier sporting camps in the State of Maine.  Through prior arrangements with the owners, we will have ordered your meals enroute and you’ll be promptly seated at the cozy lakefront dining room for a true home-cooked meal, complete with specialty coffee, in which the owner sun roasts the coffee beans. We’ll depart Lakewood and pass by Middle Dam, the outflow of Richardson’s into the Rapid River.  Our return cruise back to Mill Brook will include views of Metallic Island and Upper Dam.

Capacity: Up to 15 passengers

Duration/Times: 3 hours / Depart 11 am & Return 1:00 pm (Lunch @ Noon)

Beach Party on Pine & Metallic Island

What, a sandy beach somewhere on the Rangeley Lakes!!  Yes there is…..come dip “your toes in the water, toes in the sand….not a worry in the world, a cold drink in your hand”!!  We’ll depart from the State Boat Ramp at Mill Brook on the north end of Upper Richardson on a 30-minute scenic cruise to the public beach on Pine Island.  We’ll beach the “Gray Ghost” and you can enjoy a full two hours in the sand.  Bring a picnic lunch, sunglasses, sunscreen, swimsuits and snorkel mask (and bug spray).  We’ll then cruise back to Mill Brook.
