Kayak Trips: What to Bring

Click here to download and print our “What to Bring List” (PDF)

To make your trip more enjoyable we ask you to take into consideration a few items with respect to participating in an outdoor recreation activity:

  1. Kayaking is a water sport – the possibility of getting wet on our guided trips is 100%!
  2. Weather can be unpredictable – a change of clothing will be useful
  3. Wildlife can be ferocious – insect repellent is a real good idea
  4. Water temperatures are cold – even at the height of summer, our lakes remain very cold

The unique advantage of our “Mothership” is that it allows our guests to bring some equipment/items that you would typically leave at your vehicle.  Once aboard, we will offer a location on the vessel to leave your items. Remember, this is a boat trip, so you can expect items to possibly get wet, so pack accordingly.
